After the piece from the BBC the other month about a Kenyan School using handhelds
to access a central server with digitised textbooks, images, etc. comes a story about MIT's involvement in a project to produce a rugged Internet connected laptop for just $100
. Could the digital divide become "merely" a question of education (rather than economics) before too long?
